1. One of the best aspects of simulation is the real time feedback and approach of discussing concerns and opportunities to improve. When looking at the debrief process, what types of strategies can you incorporate to insure that the feedback is constructive and supportive? Will you allow the students to evaluate each other in this process? What advantages and disadvantages arise from students evaluating each other? How will this process improve the communication between the patient and the new grad nurses?
2.also appreciate that you have created the option to support recording of the sessions for interpretation and review at a later date. What types of plans do you have for an organized and effective review process? Did you anticipate additional support with review of these sessions? In the past, I have played these types of recorded sessions for my students at the beginning, immediately after the simulation and later in the term, after improvement and remediation.
