Factor Rating Method for Hard Rock Cafe Case Study
This week we examine how a business picks its location. The assignment is to use the Factor Rating Model (found in Chapter 8 of the textbook) (in the file) to determine which is the best of 3 potential locations for the next Hard Rock Café.
Assignment format:
I would recommend doing the Factor Rating Model in Excel. The final report should be in Word and contain:
- Introduction – what the paper is about
- Selection and weights of factors – why you picked these factors and how you determined the weights
- Results – copy your table in from Excel • Recommendations – what location rated the best and why?
