Post a two-page (around 500 words) summary and commentary on Scarlet Song. Your post should include:

- Scarlet Song mainly follows the story of Mireille and Ousmane. How would you characterize their relationship? How did it evolve? What sort of positions did they take at the beginning of the novel?
