Question 1: Based on your personal experiences, describe a time when either you or a friend, family, or dating partner misunderstood the nonverbal of “oculesics’ or eye contact. For example, someone thought you were staring at them and something was wrong but you were really just daydreaming. Give a specific example:
Question 2: Chronemics is the study of time orientation and perception. Individuals can view time as strict or relaxed. Discuss a time when you or a friend, family, or dating partner had a conflict about chronemic (time) perception. For example, you wanted to spend more time getting ready to go out but someone else was “rushing” you, or vice versa; give a specific example from your experiences.
