Describe one innovation or significant contribution this nursing leader/pioneer has made, and the impact it has had on patient health outcomes and/or the profession of nursing. Briefly discuss the sociocultural context and times in which this nursing leader/pioneer lived and how this contributed to their importance to nursing.
