Purpose
The purpose of this assignment is to critically think about strategies for including hard to reach populations into research.
Instructions
For your initial post, respond to each of the following
- Define what is meant by hard to reach populations;
- Briefly describe the difference between probability and non-probability sampling methods
- Name 3 (three) specific populations that could be considered hard to reach and why;
- For one of these populations, if you wanted to conduct research on the population, identify two sampling techniques that you would use to recruit individuals from the population for your study. Be sure to include brief rationales each of you choices.
