If we look at the requirements for WFP…we see must start with Job Design and an analysis of the work to be done to meet the organization’s mission and goals.
- How many jobs will it take to support the company? How will that work be defined and then updated as the work changes to meet the future demand for our products and services?
- Do the needs change from year-to-year on the number of people needed to perform that work? Are we making sure we have not over hired based on the economic indicators affecting our business?
- How many will normally be leaving annually? How many people retire? Can we eliminate jobs or combine jobs to reduce our labor force and maintain those who do satisfactory work?
- All of these Questions must be answered annually by HRM…Does this happen, where you work?
