In another century, how do you think society will label what we now consider to be current-day humane treatment of those with psychological disorders?
2. In recent years, telepsychology and teletherapy services such as BetterHelp and Noom have gained popularity. What do you view as some of the benefits and downfalls of using telepsychology versus more traditional forms of psychotherapy?
3. Although electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) is less brutal than it was centuries ago, the idea of sending electrical currents through the brain can bring up some unfavorable images. What was your first reaction when you heard about this form of biomedical therapy being used on humans?
