Organization and Nonprofits Discussion and Responses
Please think about the questions listed below. You will need to engage in discussion, ask questions for clarification, and respond to questions directed to you.
- Based on the readings, please discuss some of the challenges faced by nonprofits. In what processes are these challenges embedded? What (general) strategies could you suggest to ensure nonprofits are sustainable?
- Discuss changes in the leadership structure of nonprofits. Carman (2011) suggests decisions made by leaders have the ability to damage, not only their nonprofit but nonprofits in general. Based on the readings, what strategies would you suggest to nonprofit leadership to help promote their mission, ensure fiscal stability, and bolster their public image?
