I need an explanation for this Social Work question to help me study.
Very often, political controversy has its origin in differing conceptions of what is truly fair and just in differing beliefs about whether and how society should assume responsibilities for addressing human needs and problems. Most social workers often argue that social and economic polices must recognize that all people have the right to have their basic needs met- not because of individual achievement, but simply by virtue of one’s inherent work of a human being.
