- Identification of stakeholders responsible for various tasks during a disaster.
- Identification of potential sources of funding and monetary aid to support mitigation planning and implementation.
- A plan to include the community in the mitigation planning and implementation.
- A plan to include and assist local businesses in the recovery process.
- Plans for monitoring the effectiveness of the mitigation plan.
- Steps required for updating or modifying the community’s mitigation plan.
