Having good time management skills has helped me a lot in life. In high school, I was a part of several clubs and sports teams and was taking AP classes but I had horrible time management skills. I was constantly anxious and has several panic attacks a week. I didn’t know what was wrong so I began to see a therapist. She eventually came to the conclusion that I needed to work on my time management. She helped me figure out a system that worked for me and I still use it today. Time management is one of the most important skills to know. It allows us to provide quality work, manage a social life, and take care of ourselves, all in an organized way. I used to procrastinate almost everything which only made my anxiety worse. Now I plan and make time for even the smallest things and work them into my schedule, which helps me prioritize and helps me make time for social and recreation time.
